The Client is a significant industrial venture focused on mining and refining nickel and cobalt in Madagascar. As the largest investment in the nation's history, we are on track to become the world's largest lateritic nickel mine.

Profile :

Experience:

Diploma, Degree, or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Mobile Equipment repair

7 Years and more in the mechanical discipline, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry

Extensive, in-depth experience working with a wide range of CAT equipment and engines

Practical, hands-on experience in repair and diagnostics of HME, especially CAT

Skills :

Ability to read general arrangement and manufacturing drawings and work with PI&D diagrams

Competence in using measuring devices and tools associated with HME repair

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Demonstrated leadership qualities and team-working skills

Good organizational skills and effective time management

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Scope of works :

Conduct repair and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment (HME) utilized in mining operations.

Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.

Ensure operating safety devices function properly after repairs, modifications, and installations.

Provide recommendations on best practices and transfer knowledge on the job.

Prepare detailed reports and undertake developmental activities such as creating work instructions, procedures, and guidelines.
