Job Title: Civil Supervisor
Location: Taiwan (Industrial Plant)

About the Role
We are seeking a Civil Supervisor to oversee civil construction and maintenance activities at an industrial plant located in Taiwan. The position is a 6-month assignment starting in January 2026 and involves ensuring all civil works comply with engineering specifications, safety requirements, environmental standards, and project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Construction & Site Supervision
- Oversee daily civil works: excavation, concrete works, foundations, structural installations, and general site infrastructure.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality criteria, and safety rules.
- Conduct routine site inspections and document progress, issues, and corrective actions.
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and local authorities.
- Communicate technical requirements, work plans, risks, and changes effectively in Mandarin.
- Support coordination with mechanical, electrical, and environmental teams.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety policies and Taiwan construction regulations on site.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident reporting.
- Ensure all activities comply with environmental protection standards and permit conditions.
Planning & Reporting
- Review engineering drawings, schedules, method statements, and work plans.
- Track progress against milestones and report delays or resource constraints.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports in Mandarin and, when required, in English.
Quality Assurance
- Verify materials, workmanship, and construction methods meet approved engineering and QA/QC standards.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection, quality, and documentation records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising civil works in industrial, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC practices, and Taiwan building codes.
- Experience in waste management, water treatment, or environmental infrastructure is a plus.
- Fluency in Mandarin; good English communication skills required.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
- Valid Taiwan work authorization or eligibility to obtain it.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments.
- Willingness to travel between project sites when needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction management tools; ability to read and review CAD drawings.
