Your main responsibilities
We're looking for Scheduler Shutdown (M/F) who will develop schedules and master schedule for defined Shutdowns based on outputs form the planning process and lead effective schedule development & review meetings with key execution stakeholders. The scheduler shutdown will also collect the execution progress during the shutdown and identify, report and advise on any risk of deviation to the senior management.
The missions will be:
- To generate and manage carefully designed and sequenced shutdown schedules (and master schedules) covering the work orders and planning data configured and involving the Engineer Shutdown Planning and Shutdown Planning Team
- Design schedule to follow the requirements of the company Shut Down Manual
- Lead highly effective meetings to configure, review and refine the schedules to fit within shut window, resource and make essentials decisions on shut content and implications
- Coordinate the data collection for the progress of the execution of the shutdown during its progress. During this period, several schedulers are designated and assigned under the shutdown scheduler direct responsibility through the temporary shutdown organizational structure (defined for the event period)
- Identify, report and advise to the shutdown steering committee / senior management on any deviations or risk/exposure for a deviation. Within this role, the shutdown scheduler systematically submits a contingency plan to the shutdown steering committee
- Compile and publish detailed Shutdown Work Books; correlate the work to be executed based on data prepared during readiness from across the shutdown planning team
- Support the Head of Shutdown Planning with preparing and presenting planning Key Performance Indicators on readiness and post-assessments for all major shutdowns above
- Provide forecast budget for all above shutdowns with assistance from the Shutdown Cost Coordinator
Your background
Education:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Formal training planning and scheduling
Skills :
- Fluent English & French required
- Capability to lead a team of designated shutdown schedulers for a temporary period
- Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS such as EAM, SAP, Ellipse or similar) and material management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and MS PowerPoint
- Demonstrated established working capabilities of Primavera and/or MS Project
- Familiarity in contract development
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and communication skills up to manager level
- Collaborative attitude and service-minded
- Ability to identify and report keys elements of the shutdown to a senior management public
- Demonstrated capability to support the pressure during an intensive but limited period of time
- Rigorous and capability to learn and implement quickly a structured working method
Experience :
- High Maintenance experience along with reliable practices
- 10 years of proven experience in a dedicated planning or scheduling role with complex industrial Facilities
