Your main responsibilities

We are looking for a confirmed HR Consultant (M/F) to support the HR teams of our client, a major player in the oil and gas industry. He / she will undertake all activities for which he / she is responsible or involved with the highest level of consideration for the company's HSSE rules and requirements, quality policy and project management system.

The missions will be :

  • Ensure HR documents are signed and archived (Monthly activity Reports, Service Interruption Requests…);
  • Liaise with Project Assistant, HR Assistant and Affiliate for newcomers onboarding (IT, badge, access);
  • Prepare and dispatch the newcomers welcome booklet and welcoming documentation (confidentiality undertaking and the like);
  • Collect documentation and liaise with HR team, Agencies, Logistics for logistics and immigration purpose (assignments and missions, work permit and visas follow up);
  • Assist on travel organization for Staff team members (mission orders, flights and hotels booking, expenses claims),
  • Regular update of time spent in Papua New Guinea table;
  • Assist in the engineers’ certifications files preparation, liaise with engineers;
  • Follow-up engineer certifications in Papua New Guinea. Liaise with agencies and IEPNG;
  • Follow-up personnel HSE requirements (medical certificates, trainings);
  • Assists as directed;
  • Attend to HR weekly meeting and report;
  • Report on regular basis;

Your background

Education :

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent

Skills

  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of personnel logistics and Immigration procedures
  • Autonomy and ability to work in an international context
  • Good knowledge of HR process
  • Good knowledge of Engineers registration at IEPNG
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Administrative writing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience :

  • At least five (05) year’s experience in a similar position
