RECYCLING SUPERVISOR
We are currently seeking a Supervisor to oversee the safe, reliable, and effective operation of the Somerton and Bayswater Recycled Asphalt Product (RAP) Facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting internal production quality and supply requirements, as well as identifying and pre-emptively managing various issues associated with recycling asphalt, including staff rostering, customers service, material handling, maintenance and other supply related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential improvements in RAP process and work with broader team to overcome or improve
- Complete various Zero Harm inspection tasks as outlined on the ZH Activity Tracker
- Enhance overall percentage of repurposed material utilised
- Prepare and submit data to support reporting commitments and compliance requirements
- Conduct plant inspections and work with Maintenance team to identify, schedule and complete maintenance tasks including calibrations and servicing
- Support team in response to non-standard conditions (breakdown, defect, staff issue etc) and own issues to resolution
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience either as a supervisor, foreperson, or leading hand preferred
- Competencies with Excavator/Front End Loader/Bulldozer/Forklift
- Mobile Plant knowledge (Screener, Crusher, other mobile plant)
- Knowledge of material handling, quality control and production processes
