It covers all engineering activities aimed at promoting, designing, and implementing multimodal transport solutions that enhance mobility as well as the sustainable development and transformation of territories.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled System Unit Manager with experience in major infrastructure /transportation projects including mass transit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support and act as the system professional manager on behalf of the Owner. This includes making engineering decisions, accepting design proposals or technical solutions, making recommendations, resolving technical conflicts, and overseeing the application of rail systems documentation.
  • Advise the Owner on site condition surveys and any other preliminary analyses to be conducted. Analyze the results and recommend adjustments to the Programme requirements as needed.
  • Possess deep knowledge and practical experience in interfacing, integration, testing, and commissioning across various system disciplines and with external actors and systems.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (civil work, fire services, supervision, etc.) not only for technical issues but also to ensure compliance with regulations and municipal requirements, and to obtain approval for solutions.
  • Have a thorough understanding of applicable standards, laws, and expected performance related to transportation systems.
  • SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Senior engineer with 10 to 15 years’ experience in major infrastructure /transportation projects including mass transit
  • Strong knowledge of technical, organizational, and process aspects of railway systems (power supply, rolling stock, track, platform screen doors, signalling and train control, depot equipment, digital & communication) engineering in large metro projects.
  • Ability to lead and manage project teams, coordinate with others, control time and contract application, share best practices, and report to management.
  • Skill in analyzing complex situations and proposing solutions to interface with others for the overall benefit of the Metro Network.
  • Capacity and authority to anticipate, make informed choices and recommendations, manage and interact with stakeholders, the Owner, and any Programme participants.
  • Language skill : English (mandatory)
