We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of subsea engineer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of various project activities, adhering to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Location and Duration:

  • Location: France/Paris area or UK/London area, with frequent travel between sites (50% basis) and potential missions in Angola.
  • Duration: 12 months, renewable.

Responsabilities:

  • Identify, implement, and manage necessary engineering studies related to SURF (Subsea Umbilical Riser & Flowlines).
  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding H3SE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) and ensure compliance with H3SE rules and regulations within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure the use of safe working practices throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure compliance with state-of-the-art standards, TEPA references, and local laws/regulations in all contractual requirements.
  • Promote innovation and cost optimization throughout the project.
  • Organize, supervise, and coordinate technical works in the SUBSEA team.
  • Supervise and control detailed engineering activities related to Flowlines, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.
  • Provide necessary feedback on design, deviations, and constructability issues.
  • Liaise with contractors on technical matters related to Subsea, Umbilical, Riser & Flowlines.
  • Monitor and validate progress performed by contractors within your discipline, analyzing any potential deviations and proposing solutions.
  • Ensure timely issuance of all Flowlines deliverables.
  • Manage engineering interfaces related to Flowlines with other concerned packages.
  • Validate equipment qualification status and provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Issue and maintain all necessary technical documentation related to the disciplines.
  • Participate in project reviews and safety/technical audits as required.
  • Define qualification and test programs and analyze results to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee supply and procurement activities, participate in QA/QC program definition, and conduct inspections as necessary.
  • Assist Company Representatives at fabrication sites, resolve discipline-related problems during the Execution Phase, and keep documentation updated.
  • Ensure adequate and timely reporting to the Subsea Umbilical Riser & Flowlines (SURF) Package Manager, anticipate problems, and offer solutions.
  • Participate in installation, tests, commissioning, and handover during offshore phases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
  • 15-20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 10 years in project management.
