Your main responsibilities

We're looking for a Shutdown Kittig Supervisor (M/F) to manage and oversee the careful, correct and timely transportation of parts and materials between the SCM warehouse, kitting shops and shutdown execution areas.

Reporting to the Shutdown Planning Superintendent, the Shutdown Kitting Supervisor is a member of the Shutdown Planning Team and is directly responsible for the kitting team managing the transportation of parts and materials and ensuring they are preserved or undamaged during transportation, storage and handling once they leave the SCM warehouse.

He/She is also responsible for supporting the shutdown process to ensure deliveries meet readiness and fulfillment requirements to avoid delays.

The main tasks will be :

  • To communicate effectively with other areas of the company including Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory Management, Central Maintenance, Maintenance Execution and Reliability Management
  • To works closely with Area customers/SME's, Shutdown Execution Leads, Shutdown Planning Engineer, Shutdown Scheduler, Shutdown Material Kitters, Shutdown Material Controller & Preparer, Shutdown Resources Coordinator, SCM Warehouse & Logistics, Valve and Machining Workshops, QA/QC Inspection, Service Providers and Contractors
  • To participate in Shutdown meetings and gather data on parts and materials logistic requirements from Shutdown
  • To arrange parts and materials movement coordination continues through readiness, execution and post shut returns to SCM Warehouse with tracking items transported between SCM warehouse Shutdown kitting Shut Area/End-use Workshop(s), hydro blast, rewind...
  • To understand and drive all requirements for parts preservation and handling requirements are followed to ensure optimal condition throughout all transports and handling
  • To assist the Shutdown Material Controller & Preparer and Shutdown Material Kitter to gather parts per area and where available, loading into containers for secure deliver to the shutdown areas
  • To report on transport movement progress and activities

      Your background

      Education :

      • Training and knowledge of material handling management
      • Forklift license is an asset

              Skills :

              • Fluent English and French desired
              • Knowledge of supply chain management (SCM)
              • A working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS such as EAM, SAP, Ellipse or similar) and material management systems
              • Proficiency with Microsoft office products; Word, Excel, Outlook
              • Discipline in managing tracking documents
              • Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and communication skills
              • Collaborative attitude and service minded

              Experience

              • At least 4 years of experience in materials handling and transport
              • At least 2 years of proven experience in maintenance
