Position Summary:
To support and advise Category Analysts, Supervisors, and the Superintendent of Strategic Sourcing Services in the execution of strategic sourcing activities for both industrial and non-industrial projects.

Specific Accountabilities:

Prepare and execute sourcing activities from needs identification through to contract finalization.
Coach and support Category Analysts and Supervisors in developing category analyses, tendering strategies, negotiation approaches, and contract preparation.
Market Trend Analysis: Monitor price fluctuations, product availability, and supplier performance to inform purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities:

Cost Optimization: Identify savings opportunities through supplier negotiations and procurement process improvements.
Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply that meets operational needs.
Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs to assess procurement efficiency and recommend improvements as needed.
Internal Collaboration: Partner with operational and financial teams to align business objectives and strengthen category management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in Business or Supply Chain.
5+ years of experience in sourcing and project contracting, preferably in the heavy industry and/or construction sectors.
Knowledge of industrial/mining processes and relevant sourcing category management.
Ability to coach and develop a team.
Solid understanding of supply chain ERP systems, contract law, and contractual terms.
Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to meet deadlines.
High adaptability and agility.
