1. Purpose:
    Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure it's aligned with the business needs and objectives.
  2. The Client:
    Our client is a diversified leader in shipping, transport, property and hospitality operation in Papua New Guinea. They have been integral to, and part of, PNG’s development into a modern and formative leader within the Asia-Pacific region.
  3. Key Responsibilities
    - Design and implement network infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.
    - Maintain and troubleshoot the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
    - Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
    - Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
    - Perform network audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
    - Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement network-related projects.
  4. Key Requirements
    - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
    - Cisco certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP or CCIE.
    - In-depth knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
    - At least 5 years of experience in network administration, design, and implementation.
